About Miami Snowbird

Miami Snowbird is a practical guide for people who spend part of the year in greater Miami, and for those thinking about it. We cover the questions that come up every season: where to stay, how to get your car and your mail here, finding a doctor, what's on, and how to make the most of four or five months in the sun.

How we write our guides

Every guide is researched against current, public sources, which we list at the bottom of the page. Anything that changes often, such as prices, dates and rules, carries a "last reviewed" date, and we revisit it on a regular schedule. We never invent businesses, prices or reviews. If we can't verify something, we leave it out.

How the site is funded
